[00:00:01] Hey, little Thursday Thunder. Coming to you. Although barely coming to you, because I'm barely here.
[00:00:07] It is Thursday, September 10th, I think, and I just got back from six days of Tony Robbins.
[00:00:14] So here come six takeaways from my six days at Tony Robbins. Unleash the power within.
[00:00:22] Now. I gotta warn you, I feel like crap. I do not feel good.
[00:00:28] I am not in good shape. I have been a wreck since we're back.
[00:00:33] I'm vertical at the moment, thanks to my accountability partner, my ever faithful Pepper to Snapper back there in the distance. I'm actually faster than him at the moment, but that's part of the deal.
[00:00:47] And here's takeaway number one.
[00:00:53] You might be doing some things right already. You might be doing better than you think.
[00:01:00] In other words, don't think that because you go to this fancy conference with these rock star performers who are going to sell you on their fantastic courses. And they are fantastic courses. And there's excellent coaches.
[00:01:16] Don't let them think you're doing everything wrong.
[00:01:21] And in fact, maybe you're doing some stuff exactly right.
[00:01:25] And this is also why part of the reason, a meta reason, here I am recording this today is because I feel like.
[00:01:36] Sorry, I'm not kidding.
[00:01:39] Because I feel like crap, right?
[00:01:41] And so why am I doing this anyway? Bradley, why are you recording? Why aren't you home in bed? Okay, well, I mentioned that guy, he needs to walk. But another element of what I learned this weekend is massive consistent action.
[00:01:57] And this has truly been the core of my business for years.
[00:02:03] If you follow, it's a Thursday. And if you're watching this, you might, may or may not know this video is called Thursday Thunder.
[00:02:13] And that comes because since 2020, I think, I mean, year seven, I like to call it season, I'm in season seven of doing a weekly video every single Thursday.
[00:02:27] So there you go. There's massive action. And you could even call it massive imperfect action. A little shout out to my friend Barbara there who has a book called Massive Imperfect Action. But that's a lot of what they talked about this weekend, getting in the reps, right? You're not gonna lose 10 kilos in one day. You don't need to eat 10 apples on Sunday. You shouldn't run a marathon, you know, just on Sunday and with no training, right? Come on, Pep. Pepper, You're sitting in the middle of the road. Where the bikers coming?
[00:03:05] Pepper, come on.
[00:03:08] I hoard nicks. I zip nicks.
[00:03:11] My nick. Smack dag.
[00:03:20] You know what else I learned this weekend? Go with the Flow, because there was. There was interruptions, there was crazy stuff happening. I think, I think a guy had a heart attack, actually.
[00:03:33] That was a bit of a freak out moment, of course, but.
[00:03:39] And the presenter, he went with it. And how was he able to do that? He had 13,000 people all watching. It was right below me and watching somebody, I think, having a heart attack. Right? Serious stuff.
[00:03:55] And he managed to keep the flow going, keep us calm, keep 13,000 people still engaged, keep the energy at a certain level, respect what was going on, and then continue with the event.
[00:04:12] I mean, pretty impressive, right? Other presenters, I don't know, might have fallen apart or not know what to do. I'm not sure.
[00:04:19] I'm a pretty experienced presenter with a lot of situations, but I was pretty serious. I'm not sure what I would have done there. I don't think I would have handled it as well as he did. So there you go. That was number one.
[00:04:31] You are already probably at least doing some things right.
[00:04:36] Me, dare I say, I felt I'm doing a lot of things right, which was pretty cool to come away from this fancy conference and think, you know what I'm doing. All right?
[00:04:48] One element of this, if you were there, you'll recognize it. He talked about 2 millimeters, and he talked about the difference between, like, doing a poor job, good job, great job, excellent job, and then outstanding job, okay? And you know what you're doing, you're your own best judge, you're your own worst judge, right? Of what you do.
[00:05:09] And so. And he also talked about, in the modern world how if you're doing a poor job, you might be getting paid nothing, right? Or the respect you might get is nothing. If you're doing a good job, you might get paid, paid, like the poor level. And so it's kind of like you think you're doing this work or you are doing this work, as far as you can tell, but your reward or your payment or your respect might be a level down. So you're doing a good job, you're gonna get poor paid, a great job, you're gonna get good paid, you're doing an excellent job, you're gonna get great.
[00:05:39] I miss great, great, good, excellent, great, right? And so what do you do?
[00:05:46] And then he said, where you really want to get to, he just had his own levels is to outstanding.
[00:05:53] And his hierarchy of this was, I think it was poor, good, great, excellent. And then had this entire story about how the difference between excellent and outstanding was 2 millimeters. He had this story about how this, you Know, gold medal winner from 1940 or whatever beat the silver medalist by 2 millimeters.
[00:06:21] And how that difference made all the difference because he was then invited to the stuff and got on the shows and whatever. Because they want the gold medal winner, so they want.
[00:06:32] You want to be the 2 millimeters. What is that? 2 millimeters? How do you get to that? 2 millimeters from Excellent to outstanding, Right?
[00:06:42] So, for example, right here, I used to think I need proper audio and better video out here in the woods. But then I. The more I hear about it, the more I hear, no, a perfectly edited video. People might think it's AI.
[00:06:58] So maybe that's not somewhere where I need to go to outstanding as far as video quality or audio quality, sure, if I'm in the studio, fine. But if I'm out here with the good stuff, this is the raw stuff.
[00:07:10] Like, I've. I've got the glasses. I mean, I'm in good shape, right? So what is your 2 millimeters to get from excellent to outstanding?
[00:07:21] Okay, so that was it. Takeaway number one is you're probably already doing some things right. Don't let them take that away from you. Not that they were trying, but own them.
[00:07:36] Own it. What are you doing? Right? And what can you keep on doing and then build for more? Okay, I'm gonna get to number two. The only thing is I have them on my phone, and I forgot my little printed piece of paper. And so I'm gonna. I need to stop this, and I'm gonna start it, and I'll get back to number two. See you in a sec.
[00:07:52] Okay, Takeaway number two from Tony. Tony Robbins unleashed the power within Past weekend in Cologne, Germany, 2026.
[00:08:03] Your body is part of your business.
[00:08:07] This was weirdly new to me. I.
[00:08:11] If you've been following me, you'll know that in the past seven or eight or nine months now, I've been really getting more focused on fitness, health, vitality, energy, muscle strength. So I'm feeling pretty good. In fact, there was one guy, the German guy, who came in on the bicycle. He went through this list of, like, five things, and if you didn't have number one, you had to sit down. If you didn't have number two, you had to sit down. And I actually had all five. I did all the things like the grams of protein and the workouts times per week and the blah, blah, blah, right? And I actually. I felt pretty good because I'm like, hey, I'm doing all right again. I'm doing all right in some things.
[00:08:47] So Your body is part of the business.
[00:08:50] I think my biggest takeaway from the entire six days was, I'm sure it's different for Everybody. Was Joseph McClendon III, right?
[00:09:03] This, this guy, he's energetic, he's funny. He was a great communicator, storyteller, emcee, host, presenter. He was awesome, right? I thought he was just lovely and funny and witty and loving and caring, right? He was all it. He was all the whole packet.
[00:09:22] And so he tells this big story. By the way, the whole weekend's about storytelling. It's storytelling and like, I can remember the stories. If you were there, do you know who Ernie is? Who's Ernie? Tell me who Ernie is. If you were there, tell me in the comments who Ernie was, right? So. And you'll know, you'll immediately know if you were there and you were watching, you were listening, you know who Ernie is. And if you don't, you weren't there, then you don't know. But it's a storytelling and it sunk in.
[00:09:46] So what did Joseph McClendon do? He. He had this big prelude, this big build up to what's going to happen to your body if you don't take care of it. And then he said, you know, imagine he had all this scenario. Imagine there's a, you know, 72 year old and they don't take care of their body and they eat poorly and they don't train and they don't work out and they don't do all this stuff, right? What are they going to look like? And you were just imagining in your head. And he was kind of hinting he's gonna go backstage and, like, pull somebody out, right?
[00:10:18] And so at some point he finally says, all right, I'm gonna go get him. I'm gonna go get him. And he goes backstage and we're thinking, I'm talking with my neighbors. I'm like, he's gonna bring out some like, toothless Haggard, you know, Wicked Witch of the west, barely moving in just terrible shape and one tooth and eyes in a patch. Who knows, right? Just in bad shape and then he comes bouncing back out.
[00:10:47] And so, by the way, he called us bitches, like a lot, right? And he just got away with it. And he's like, it's me, bitches.
[00:10:57] Oh, my God. This guy is 72 years old. I don't know if I mentioned that. He said, what happens when you're 72, right? And my. He's 72. He's bouncing around the stage like he's 42. He's got energy and hype and he's getting us going and humor and power and confidence and he's a man.
[00:11:19] And so I was just thoroughly impressed that this guy is 72 years old, keeping a stage alive and attentive and on the edge of their seats for the most part for like 10 hours, right? You know, with breaks and stuff. But the guy was on stage for hours at a time with very little, you know, slides and. And of course he's been doing it for 20 years, right? But oh my God, seven. I know some 72 year olds, they're not like him.
[00:11:52] So for me that was like, whoa. For someone in my, in your 50s like me, my.
[00:11:59] Wow. I mean, he is way more fit than he could kick my habute, right? He, he puts me to shame. The guy's in such good. I mean, I'm in pretty good shape, but whoa. Right, so that your body is part of your business. So if you think about it, if you think this guy's on stage for 10 hours, right, with no, with very few breaks and he's just going. And there's no sign of fatigue. He had this great thing where it's like, you know how most people wake up and he lies down on the floor and he hits the snooze button like three times and gets annoyed and like, why me? And so he's funny, right? And then he finally wakes and then he says, how do I wake up? And he's like, hi.
[00:12:43] He was so good.
[00:12:45] So what does this mean? And this is why probably my dad biggest takeaway or one of the biggest takeaways for me in the weekend was energy and health and vitality and strength and muscle and aerobic and anaerobic and nutrition and health.
[00:13:04] Health is wealth.
[00:13:06] So your body is part of your business.
[00:13:09] And I don't think, I think I just took it for granted that, oh yeah, well, of course, or whatever, but I didn't clearly associate them as, as clearly as I, as I now do. And I now see the importance of being able to be on stage because that's me. I mean, I'm on stage right now. I'm recording a video, remember? I feel like crap. But I'm, I'm out here, I'm doing it also. Momentum builds momentum. Action builds momentum. I'm out here, I'm feeling better because I'm outside. I'm also doing what I love. I'm recording, right?
[00:13:43] Massive imperfect action. I'm taking that, I'm doing it. I hit record. I'm going to publish this, right?
[00:13:50] So there you go. Your body is part of your business.
[00:13:53] How in tune is your body with the level of energy of your business?
[00:13:59] I get. I was about to make a joke. I can make a bad joke. But did you ever see the movie Mad? I think it was Madagascar where there's the sloth who works at the, the dmv. That's the American, like Motor Vehicle corporation, company organization, whatever. And they're known, sorry, DMV employees, they're known to be kind of slow.
[00:14:19] And, and so this law, this like stamping gunk.
[00:14:24] Do you need another paper? Right. And sloths, they are. I mean, that's where the like negative terminology comes from. But they're kind of slow, right? They're slow and big and molasses.
[00:14:37] And so I don't know if that's your job and that's okay to be at that level of energy, then maybe that's fine.
[00:14:44] That's not me, right? It's not my energy. I'm in front of audiences, I'm on stage. I need to be up. I need. Not only do I need to be up, I need to raise up the level of the stage, of the audience, of the people, of the workshop. People, participants, right?
[00:15:00] So body is part of your business. That's number two. Let's get to number three. But remember, it's on my phone, so I got to read what it is right back.
[00:15:09] Okay? Number three.
[00:15:11] Number three.
[00:15:13] Your body changes your mind and your mind changes your body.
[00:15:22] Now I felt this in two ways during the six day weekend, by the way, I keep saying six day weekend because I went a day earlier and stayed a day late. Right? As I think you should do with intensive conferences or seminars like this.
[00:15:35] Get there for a day to like, to, to fall into the energy, to fall into the vibe, to, to let go of your regular world and then give yourself a day at the end, if you have such a luxury of time at the end, to let it sink in, which I did, which was painful. So your body is related to your mind and your mind is related to your body and it changes it.
[00:15:59] So Tony Robbins, this is my first Tony Robbins event, by the way.
[00:16:04] And he warns you in the beginning, he's like, we're gonna do a lot of jumping, high fiving, hugging your neighbors, getting out of your chairs all the time, dancing, singing, screaming, yelling, crying.
[00:16:16] Active, right? I mean, because if you think about it, there's 13,000 people sitting in chairs in a stadium.
[00:16:24] But how active can that be, right? It's not a triathlon training we're in chairs. We're in a stadium. How much room do you have? Well, let me stand corrected.
[00:16:37] It was a rock concert. Has nothing on this. A rock concert. If you're like my wife and you dance a lot at concerts, that's one thing.
[00:16:47] But I.
[00:16:49] So, by the way, I actually lost weight this weekend. I didn't. Okay, we're talking about nutrition. I didn't eat that well, partly because the arena was. Didn't have the greatest food and it was Germany. And Germany's like fun, you know, bratfrost and pretzel.
[00:17:03] Okay, sorry, J.J. virgin.
[00:17:06] Anyway, if you went, you know what I'm talking about. Sorry, J.J. virgin. She's gonna come after me if I tell her I ate bretzels and bratwurst.
[00:17:15] So your body influences your mind and your mind influence your body.
[00:17:21] So remember that he wants you to jump around and he wants you to be active and he wants you to make your move. Make your move. Make you move. Get in the physical state that you want to be in.
[00:17:34] Mental state was at probably his core.
[00:17:38] Giveaway, take away giveaway was the mental state that you're in. So how can you change this mental state through your physiology, through your focus and through your language.
[00:17:51] So this is why all the time we're jumping up and we're changing our physical state. If you're sitting there getting tired and listening and you're taking notes, then your brain is also taking.
[00:18:06] Right. Getting tired and taking notes.
[00:18:10] So that's why we every, I don't know, very often we would see you, he would stand up and he'd say, make your move. Make your move. Make your move.
[00:18:20] You have like your power move, whatever your power move might be. Oh, I still have my bracelet on just in case you needed proof that like I actually went there.
[00:18:30] I make your move. And anybody say, say yes. Yes. Say yes. Yes. Say yes. Yes. And there's 13,000 people making their move. 13,000 people saying yes. Like screaming yes. Right. It's empowering.
[00:18:46] You are embodying the power of 13,000 people taking action, making energy, creating energy.
[00:18:56] Right. It was fantastic. And I think I've just never experienced such a thing. I've been to a lot of conferences, a lot of webinars, seminars, workshops and stuff all over the map. Right? Self help meditation. I've been to a 10 day Vipassana silent meditation retreat. I've done five day Joe Dispenza retreats. Right. I've been around the block, but this, I've been to Brock concerts, I've been to Any concerts? No, no, no, no, no. Nothing, I think nothing I've ever been to can compete with the energy that I experienced at Tony Robbins. Unleash the power within.
[00:19:35] So did this affect my mind? Absolutely. Because if you're sitting there slumping down and tired and dreaming about Brat Rose and Bretzel, that's one thing. But if your mind is up and going and active and what are we going to do? And make your move. Make your move. Make your move. Say yes. Say yes. Yes. And there's 13,000 people around you yelling and screaming and doing the same thing and feeling that energy. And if you're allowing yourself to take that energy into your body and to your mind and allowing yourself to rise up to the occasion and rise up with your energy and your ideas and your plans and your forecasts and your next year and what are we going to do? And let's do it. And we can do this. And it's very rah rah. I mean, I am. I do have an American passport, so I get it. I get the rah rah. You can. You can do it. You can do it, guys. I am awesome. Yes. I am magnificent. Yes. I don't know. Is it one of those things where if you say it enough, like, it'll sink in? If I just say I am awesome enough, enough times, will that work? Will that sink in?
[00:20:40] I don't know. The jury's out. But I can tell you if you don't say it, it's not going to sink in. So part of me is like, well, what does it hurt? Right. What could it hurt?
[00:20:52] Sorry I mentioned that. Like, I didn't get out of bed for 36 hours after this thing. Why? Because your mind and your body are connected, of course.
[00:21:03] And my mind took a beating this weekend. Right. There was the Dickens method. I can't remember what it's called. Dickensian method or something.
[00:21:11] And it was your past, present and future. Like the ghost of the past, the ghost of the present, ghost of the future.
[00:21:16] And you had to let go of limiting beliefs and you had to shout them out. There were 13,000 people shouting out their limiting beliefs. It was an emotionally charged session and it was fantastic and powerful.
[00:21:31] And I just screamed out, by the way. It's another reason I lost my voice, because we were screaming all the time.
[00:21:37] And honestly, back to point number one, a little bit. I screamed out also that, you know what? I'm doing all right, I'm doing pretty good here, and that's okay. And I'm screaming out that he said some People, the only problem they have is that they think they don't have any problems.
[00:21:55] Well, sometimes I might be a little optimistic, but my life's pretty darn good, so own that.
[00:22:02] Own it. Own it, man.
[00:22:04] There you go. Body, mind, connected. I knew that. It's not a shocker, but I really experienced it in two ways. With all the movement and the jumping and the shouting and the high fiving and the hugging and the sharing with your neighbors and getting out of your chair and make you move and make your move and make you move and say yes. Yes. Say yes. Yes. Say yes. Yes. Can you feel? This is just me in the woods, right? Can you imagine 13,000 people doing this? It was insane. Nothing I've ever experienced. Awesome.
[00:22:32] And then just to wrap it up with the body and the mind, why did I get sick?
[00:22:38] Why did my throat go okay? Throat. You could say physical. Physical, like, throat go. Because I'm yelling and screaming for four days. But why did I have a headache? I had the backache. I had the throat. I had the. The head cold. I had the whole thing. And I am never sick like Joseph McClendon III. I. I'm never sick. I never have anything. I mean, like, perfect health. I never. I don't get a sniffle. And so when I've got boom, boom, boom, boom. This. I'm like, what's going on here, buddy boy?
[00:23:10] And this is where I think.
[00:23:14] It ain't from the jumping. Right? It ain't from the. From the high fiving.
[00:23:19] I think it's from the emotional roller coaster.
[00:23:23] Emotional, psychological, physiological roller coaster that we were on for four to six days.
[00:23:29] And I'm owning that. And I'm okay with it. I'm good with it. Because I know that is cleansing me. That is. Take you. I am not a doctor. I'd like to say the only license I have is a driver's license. I ain't got no license, no doctor degree, no nothing, right? So take this with this grain of salt, and this is not medical advice.
[00:23:48] Sorry. I have to say that sometimes, you know, so how. How connected is that? Right? How connected is the mind and the body and the body and the mind? And I think they're extremely connected. And this weekend proved it to me in those two ways.
[00:24:04] So there you have it. All right. What was that? Was that three or four? I'm losing track.
[00:24:08] I think. I think that might have been three. Let's move on to four. I gotta go read it. All right, bye.
[00:24:14] Okay, here we are. Tony Robbins update number four. Number four, Takeaway Stop teaching and start delivering experiences.
[00:24:29] Stop just sharing information and start delivering transformation.
[00:24:37] All right, how does this work?
[00:24:39] This is related to the previous point.
[00:24:43] How did they do this with the music and the high fives and the singing and the movies and the short stories and the long stories and the delivery and the pacing and the fact that day one was 12 hours long with no official break. You could take a break. You could leave all day if you want. You didn't have to be there.
[00:25:05] You don't have to come all weekend. And so you could. In fact, I didn't know the schedule. And so I'm like, when's lunch?
[00:25:12] And there was no lunch. There was no breakfast, no lunch, no dinner.
[00:25:17] And whoa. Right. And so, okay, and so what's the strategy here? Is it do they want to, like, wear you down so they can get into your head or, I don't know, do they want to keep you going so you'll get into the zone? I don't know.
[00:25:35] But it worked, right? And so for a while, remember, I am American, but I've also lived in Europe for 14 years. And I don't consider myself your typical American where I like, I like or need or love the whole rah rah, you can do it. Let's jump up and down and scream all the time.
[00:25:53] And I'm also. I'm not 23, and so I'm good with it.
[00:25:59] But I've got to say, stop just teaching and invite transformation or create an experience.
[00:26:10] This weekend was not a boring seminar. This weekend was not lecturing. And you sit in the chair and listen and take notes. There was definitely elements of that, but I would say I was. We were probably standing more than we were sitting. We were probably engaged more than we were listening. Or at least maybe that's just my take on it now, right? Maybe that's looking back a few days ago. Now, looking back, that's what I take away.
[00:26:37] And if that's my takeaway, even if it's not accurate, but I think that's what it was, then that's what's the most important to me because that's the takeaway that I want to have. And probably the takeaway they want me to have that it was about the energy. It was about the passion and the high fives and the hugs and the sharing the stories with your neighbors and crying into your neighbor's shoulder, you know, and hugging your neighbor. And not just high fives, like hard ass high tens. Right?
[00:27:14] And having fun, too, like Joseph McClendon III. He's funny. I mean, he had, he had us doing some funny stuff that just. You're laughing out loud.
[00:27:26] So it was an interactive experience.
[00:27:29] It wasn't just a, a show where you're sitting there and watching. You were part of it. You were yelling, screaming, high fiving, high tening, the whole deal. Right. You are part of it. And then with the workbook, if you did your homework, which was like in class homework, then you're filling out your book. Right? And I did. I filled out a lot of the book. Not always, but I filled out a lot of the book. And of course, the physical act, they say the physical act of writing pen on paper is very important for this whole process, for this whole learning and growing and transformational process. It's important.
[00:28:06] And that's why the pen on paper, I thought that was so good. I didn't see a single person with an iPad or a laptop or electronic device other than their phone taking pictures and stuff, but not as the note taking device. So that also kept it more visceral where you're using that pen on paper and making the notes and having that come in. Right. And then sharing those notes with your neighbor, telling your neighbor your, your limiting beliefs. Right. That's scary stuff. Right. Which is why also they, they suggested to not, not sit with the people you came with. Like, I came with a group of eight friends and we did, we consciously did not sit together, the most of us. And I, I think that was very useful because if you know somebody, you might hold back. Like, in fact, one of the guys who came, his wife kind of sent him and he, she didn't want to go because she thought, if I go, I'm going to influence the impact you might have and you might hold back because there's something, not necessarily a secret, but something you might not just let loose as deeply or as powerfully as without me there. So it's kind of the beauty of strangers.
[00:29:24] I met some awesome strangers and it was super fun. And you just open up and you just, there's no crap, no bs, no wasting time, no, like, let me muddle around this idea. No, let me just tell you straight out, right? This is the deal.
[00:29:41] That's where sometimes too, I didn't hold back. I said, like, I'm moving to Italy. My life is grand. My life is a freaking IMAX movie and I love it and I'm awesome and I'm doing excellent work and I could be doing outstanding work and it's only going to take me 2 millimeters of extra effort to get there. So, like, let's do this thing. It's go time.
[00:30:04] And that was awesome, right? And then I. And I. And listen. We have two years, one mouth. I listened much more than I spoke and I got feedback from others. And you try not to coach on the spot, right?
[00:30:14] And I listened to a lot of stories and a lot of pain, a lot of struggle and lack of clarity. And it's out there.
[00:30:26] Ain't no kidding.
[00:30:28] All right, that was number four.
[00:30:32] Make it an experience, not just an information session. How do you engage your audience? Of course, me, like, I'm a workshop leader. I'm a speaker, I'm an emcee, I am a keynote speaker. I am a master of ceremonies. I am a host of events, right? How do I keep the audience engaged? How do I keep the stage and the speakers and the audience and how do I keep all that rolling? What if something terrible happens? Like a heart attack in the audience, right? Keep the. It's a live experience. This is real life. He kept saying that. This is real life. It really is, right? It's not a show. He even said, like, this is not part of the show.
[00:31:05] It really wasn't. That was freaky. So making an experience, not just an information dump session. All right. On the number five, we're almost done.
[00:31:15] Okay, Tony Robbins, unleash the power within. Tip number five.
[00:31:19] Five tips, five days. Nope, we got six tips and six days. We're almost there.
[00:31:24] Tip number five, if it matters, put it on the calendar.
[00:31:30] Now this one I loved because this is right up my alley.
[00:31:34] I often talk about how I do a daily short, which I do, and a weekly video, which you're watching right now, and a monthly newsletter. That's it, right? That's my entire content strategy plan.
[00:31:45] Daily short, weekly video, monthly bit, monthly newsletter.
[00:31:50] Sorry, don't get sick, okay? Edit that out. But no, I'm not gonna. Because it's real. It's the real deal, okay? There was a guy, Jesse Itzler. I think I might be screwing up his name.
[00:32:07] And he was this like laid back American, like, dude, billionaire dude, no less. But he was very casual and very cool and all of his. They showed some pre preview videos of him and stuff. And he's casual dude. And. And he. And he kept saying how, like, I don't have. I don't have the fancy business to. Or whatnot.
[00:32:26] And.
[00:32:28] But here's how I do stuff, okay? And he had.
[00:32:33] It's funny with like billionaires, right? I mean, you can love him or hate him or both. And I'M sure you have your opinions about billionaires, but you got to admit they're at least a little intriguing, right? I mean, like aliens, right? They're just different. There's like, that's unique. It's got to be difficult unless it was handed to you in a silver platter, right? JESSE Itzler it was not.
[00:32:58] And so he had this thing where I can't remember all three. We can look them up and I can try to find them. But he talked about three things that he says, I'm going to give you this three planner thing and it'll change your life. There was a lot of commentary about this will change your life. Right? And so he says one of them, I'm gonna mess it up. It's like misogy. Misogi. It's a Japanese thing and where you schedule one big giant event per year.
[00:33:32] And ideally you schedule it, you plan it the year previous and then you do it the next year. Right. And so, you know, whatever, it's a big trip or you run a marathon or you write a book or whatever, but you plan this thing and then you do the thing.
[00:33:48] And that was one of the things. And then there was another one was, I'm going to screw this up. But it's something like every two weeks.
[00:33:59] What was it? Do something that a little bit out of your comfort zone or something like that. And it was sort of adventurous for you and something you hadn't done before, something like that. So like twice a month. And he really wants you to schedule these things. You don't need to schedule these, the two week things in advance so much, but he wants you to do them and not make the excuse for it and not, not, not do them. That was very important for him that you did it and that you accomplished it. You had it on your schedule and you. And you did it.
[00:34:30] And the bar thing, I can't remember the fourth thing was. Or the third thing. I can't remember the third thing was. But I would add in there.
[00:34:38] Well, this is, I'm putting my own twist on it here because he kind of has a similar story with the. I do daily, weekly, monthly. Like I could add in quarterly and annually. Right. It's not a bad idea. And of course I like this because it goes along with one of my programs, the Year of you and how I want you to build out your upcoming year.
[00:34:57] And in fact, it really helped me with like very clear plans to add like a goal to my program because my program is, it's more, it's almost Like a branding program, the one I do. And so I want you to sort of brand your year ahead. But I didn't necessarily have, like, a task or a goal for you to do this one big thing in the year. But I think that's like, kind of a cool idea.
[00:35:24] So there's an example of adapting some. Something that somebody's using and making it work for your own program. Right.
[00:35:34] So that could be something.
[00:35:39] Okay, let's see. I'm lost.
[00:35:42] All right, where are we?
[00:35:46] We're number five. What was number five?
[00:35:48] Oh, that's right. Like, forgot the guy's name already.
[00:35:53] All right, one sec.
[00:36:00] All right, all right. I got people taking over my stage. I mean, what is this, right?
[00:36:08] Stuff I gotta deal with?
[00:36:11] Okay, if it's important, put it on the calendar. That was my takeaway number five.
[00:36:16] And I do this really well. So this could also flashback to point number one, that, hey, I'm doing quite a few things right.
[00:36:25] And so I think the big takeaway is to execute just like, oh, this is where I'm coming back to my opening.
[00:36:35] Opening line here about Bradley, why are you doing this? If you feel like crap, you're sick. Why don't you just do it when you feel better?
[00:36:42] No, this is because it's on my calendar.
[00:36:46] And because today is Thursday.
[00:36:49] I do a video every single Thursday.
[00:36:52] There are no excuses. There are no makeups. There's no maybe laters. It's. It's Thursday. I'm doing a video.
[00:37:02] That's it. And the beauty of the power of this is I'm totally turned around is how simple it is.
[00:37:11] And that's what makes it work.
[00:37:13] Because if I wake up and say it's Thursday, it's an automatic trigger. And he talks a lot about this. A catalyst or a trigger or the stepping stone, right? That if it's Thursday, that means I'm doing a video. There is no question, there is no doubt. And if you want to take me my perspective on this, that means there is no decision that has to be made or thought about or debated upon whether or not you're going to do a video. No, it's Thursday. You're going to do it. And this is where it's not just you write it in your calendar, but you do it. You execute what you decided.
[00:37:53] If you know my work, you know, I have a book called Decide, and it's not popular because people don't like doing it, but you decide. Just like I decided in 2020 to do a video every single day. And guess what? I decided Back then. And that was the biggest, most important moment. The fact that I decided to do this thing, and then the execution of the thing, in my humble opinion, is actually easier because you've already made the decision.
[00:38:24] So this is similar. So 0.5.
[00:38:26] Put it on the calendar if it's important, but don't just lightly put it on the calendar. Put it on the calendar and make it happen. Put it on the calendar and engrave it in stone.
[00:38:40] You cannot change it. Give yourself a time limit. If it's the one year and you're going to do a marathon and, okay, fine, you break your leg, fine.
[00:38:48] But if all, all, all else does not prevent you from doing the thing.
[00:38:56] Do the thing.
[00:38:58] That's it.
[00:38:59] Okay, that was pretty much it for number five. I think It's. It's a very simple point. Number five is. It's an important takeaway. I felt quite.
[00:39:11] Sort of seen because I do this and I'm proud of it. And also an element of this is do it.
[00:39:20] Like. What's that? Instead of a cheesy, like, Hallmark card thing. It's like, you know, dance when nobody's looking or whatever. Well, it's kind of that, right? Like, I. If. If you follow me and you ask me, like, why I do my YouTube channel, you know, I don't do it for you. I do it for me.
[00:39:36] And I do it for me because this gives me energy, this gives me power.
[00:39:40] This lets out the creative flow, and this is sort of the cycle of the creative flow that I need to make all this happen.
[00:39:48] And that's why I do it.
[00:39:50] And if you benefit from it, awesome, right? That's like a bonus for me.
[00:39:56] So knowing that could be very much. Knowing your why. Why do I do this? I do it because I need to do it. This gives me joy, pleasure, meaning, delight, happiness in recording, video, and creating. I am an. I am an author, speaker, creator. Right. It's very simple for me.
[00:40:16] You could just. If I only had to choose one, and be creator. Super simple, right? Creator. What do I do? Creator.
[00:40:22] Oh, what do you do? I speak and I write. That's it. But at the core, I'm creating. Right? See the beauty, the simplicity of it? That's it. That's it.
[00:40:32] So for me, this calendar one, this number five, is easy because I already do it, but it's. It's sort of reinforcing how important it is for me, and that's why I wanted to put it on the list.
[00:40:43] All right, coming up to number six. Almost done. Thanks for watching.
[00:40:48] Okay, last One. And my takeaways from six days. Six takeaways from six days at Tony Robbins. Unleash the power within.
[00:40:55] In case I didn't mention it, I'm Bradley Schrobineau, and this is a repossible YouTube channel and podcast. I record videos every single Thursday. And if you want to get these in your inbox, you can go to repossible.com TT like Thursday Thunder.
[00:41:09] Okay, we're on number six.
[00:41:11] I only have one hand spare.
[00:41:15] Ready?
[00:41:16] Don't just learn it, live it.
[00:41:19] What does this mean?
[00:41:21] Information, action, identity.
[00:41:26] You could go to the weekend, right? Go to do the six days, and then you could go home, back to your life. And if you never take action, you got the information, great. But if you never take action, okay, not the end of the world. You. You gathered some information, you learned some things. Awesome.
[00:41:45] But what if you took action, right? What if you. Now, based on the information, based on what you learned, you took action.
[00:41:54] And then, in my humble opinion, this action, the continuous action, again, in my opinion, the continuous, regular, consistent action, will bring about a change in your habits, which will bring about a change in your behavior, which will bring about a change in your identity.
[00:42:20] All right, this might sound like a stretch, just doing these tiny things that will change your identity.
[00:42:26] Hello. I've been doing video. I've been doing YouTube shorts for, I don't know, two or three years. It has absolutely changed my perspective, my level of confidence, my charisma on camera, dare I say.
[00:42:40] And yes. So these tiny little actions, this is, again, in my opinion, this is the key. It's the tiny little steps, right? It's not the when will I have the TED Talk or when will I be on the Tony Robbins stage? No, it's. Are you doing the daily shorts? Are you doing the daily page of writing? Are you doing the daily. Whatever it is you need to do and you know what it is to need to do? I don't know what it is you need to do, but you know what it is you need to do. When. When do you do that? And how do you get that done? Right?
[00:43:14] We got some big dogs.
[00:43:16] Okay, so that is then the big takeaway for number six. It is the. Hello.
[00:43:26] Come on. Just.
[00:43:30] We got some big. We got some big dogs, okay? See how big? Look at that thing? There's a little pepper. There's a big dog.
[00:43:39] Action.
[00:43:40] Taking action.
[00:43:42] Allowing that action, the tiny little actions. If you want my opinion, I like daily, weekly, monthly. I just think it's easy. I like simple because it's simple. Then you'll do it. If it's some complex system, by the way, there was a lot of mention of that this weekend. If it's some complex theoretical philosophical framework, you're not going to do it. You're just like, what was it again? I don't remember. Who knows? All I know I do a short a day, a video a week and a newsletter a month. That's is so simple. So I do it, I wake up, it's Thursday. Oh, I've gotta do a video. Maybe I have it planned in advance, maybe I don't today. I definitely had it planned. I was looking forward to this one, right.
[00:44:24] And then also it helps with the scheduling of my week. Oh, when am I gonna do my.
[00:44:29] Do some kind of wrap up from the Tony Robbins weekend on Thursday. Of course, it's super simple.
[00:44:35] So information, action, identity.
[00:44:41] Gather the information, take the action and then allow that identity shift to land. Right? Allow it to come through the simple actions through the growth. The. I was going to say incremental growth. It is incremental growth. But I also believe it's exponential growth. Like there's an incremental growth. It's like a simple bank account. But then there's the exponential growth, right?
[00:45:07] Exponential growth that you see only after a certain time there's like a bank account goes, right? And so this is I think the magic and the secret of creating.
[00:45:21] And this is why I do daily stuff, right? This is why I do daily, weekly, monthly. Because of the buildup of. And the incremental growth that I know I'm achieving. Cause that is easily measurable. And then the exponential growth, which is that fun stuff. I mean like in finance that's the big fun stuff. Cause that's when you earn the big bucks.
[00:45:43] But in personal growth, that's when the magic happens. And when you get to the spiritual stuff, it's gonna be more the unexpected spiritual growth, the unexpected happenings of when it happens and why it happens and. And how it all happens, right? Because that's the beauty of it. And because if you knew then it wouldn't happen. But that I'm getting sidetracked there because that's when we get into the identity stuff and how fun that can be. So there you have it. I think we can wrap up there.
[00:46:14] I'm not going to wrap them up. I will put them on the screen again. Or you got nice chapters in here on YouTube. Or if you're watching on on the podcast, you're listening on the podcast. You can go watch on YouTube. There's nice chapters in there.
[00:46:26] And these have been my six takeaways. Oh, I'm actually going the wrong way. Come on, Pip.
[00:46:32] Come on. Now.
[00:46:34] My six takeaways from my six days in Cologne, Germany, in 2026 at Tony Robbins.
[00:46:43] Unleash the power within.
[00:46:45] And I got to say, the other.
[00:46:47] The speakers, the Scott, I'm going to screw up his last name. Sheldon. I'm calling everybody Sheldon Scott, Australian guy. And then Joseph McClendon III. I might also be butchering his name there, but, man, the fact the guy is 72. I mean, Tony Robbins is 66, but the fact that Joseph McLendon III is 72, that for me is like, like the biggest highlight, inspirational moment of the entire weekend.
[00:47:19] Just learning that he was 72 just baffled me that he had so much energy, he was so physically fit, he was so energetically present and just powerful.
[00:47:33] I just. I don't know, I was just like an instant fanboy and just in. In all awe and admiration.
[00:47:42] So what is that? What's my takeaway? Health is wealth.
[00:47:46] Health is wealth.
[00:47:48] If you don't have health, there was a really powerful quote, although it was kind of painful. They said, if you have a regular life, like, you're a healthy person and you have a regular life, you have lots of problems.
[00:48:00] If you don't have your health, you have one problem.
[00:48:05] Ouch. Right? Meaning your health.
[00:48:09] And as the last three days proved to me, if you'll notice, I didn't. I mean, I posted a short or so, but I. I was flat out, I was. I was not in good shape. And that is so unusual for me. You, if you watch me, you listen to me. You know, I am 110% every day, and I love it, and I'm proud of that. Right? And I've worked hard to get there.
[00:48:35] And for me to be flat out for a couple days is a big push on my system.
[00:48:42] And it just makes me want to strive even harder and stronger and longer and faster and be better and smarter and learn more and health and vitality and energy and journey it and. And learn from the pros. Ah, one more takeaway.
[00:49:01] Okay. Maybe because they're pitching their whole coaching thing, it very well could be, but they really emphasize the idea of finding someone who's done that work in your field or whatever, finding the pro or the expert or the best or whatever, and following in their footsteps, do. Do what they do.
[00:49:21] And of course, that could be because they're. There's a whole coaching program they want you to follow. But you know what? The guy's been doing it for 50 years.
[00:49:28] How wrong could it be? Right. How bad could it be? If it were bad, I think. I don't think they'd be around. Right? It's legit.
[00:49:37] So there you have it.
[00:49:39] That was. I was going to originally make this six.
[00:49:43] Six takeaways from six days in six minutes. But I thought it won't do it justice.
[00:49:49] There was such good stuff that I took away from these six days that I wanted to give you a little insight into what I took away in these past six days.
[00:49:59] And I thank you for watching. I thank you for listening, and thanks for letting me lift you up, hopefully, because I even lifted my own self up here because I felt like crap earlier and now I only feel a little less than crap. But I.
[00:50:16] Sorry, but I feel a little better. But did you notice? Hello, massive imperfect action.
[00:50:22] It's Thursday. I'm doing it no matter what.
[00:50:25] You know what fear is, right? You know what courage is, right? Courage is. I have fear, and I do it anyway. There you go. I have fear that I'm gonna fall over and cough my way through my video, and I'm doing it anyway. So there you have it. I am Bradley Charbonneau. This has been the Repossible podcast on YouTube channel. Like, subscribe, do all the stuff. And if you want to hear me weekly, you want to get this in your inbox and go to repossible.comtt if you want to hear about that year of you program, you can go to repossible.com yoyofu and in fact, I'd love if you went to Tony Robbins and you want to check out the program. I'd love your feedback on maybe like a Jesse Itzker style. I'm probably butchering his name. Jesse Itzker style. Upgrade to that program where we maybe we weave in some big thing that you do. I hadn't thought about that. But I like it. I like the idea of a big. A big goal or an adventure or travel or a, you know, write a book or whatever you want to do, right? Start that podcast.
[00:51:29] Something you didn't do. All right, thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. See you next week. Because you know where I'll be? I'll be right here. Come on now.
[00:51:40] All right, take care now.
