[00:00:05] Hey, hey, hey. [00:00:07] 17th comes every once a month. So weird. Is that Bradley Scharbiner here? Welcome to the 17th. [00:00:16] This is my monthly newsletter. And today, this morning, I'm off to off to work. And I've got a message for you. And that one word today is Kairos. K a I r o s. I'll explain it in a minute. But here's my revelation of the morning. The revelation of the morning is that in order to have more Kairos, we need to make sure our Kronos is stable and strong and consistent. Here we go. Can you hear the birds? [00:00:53] We got some birds this morning. [00:00:55] Kronos and Kairos. That's what we're talking about. That's what Kairos is. The name of the series of my next three books. Three books being energy, trajectory and frequency with the overarching idea of Kairos. Ready for Kairos to explain Kairos. Kronos is easier to comprehend. And then youll get to Kairos. Youll understand. Heres a little teaser. [00:01:27] The deeper the roots, the taller the branches. [00:01:33] The roots are your core, are your stable, are your foundation. That would be Kronos. Your branches are your fun, your unexpected. You're reaching new heights, you're soaring. The unexpected joys in life, the ups and downs. [00:01:49] Which way is the branch going to go? That's Kairos. Chronos is, in the literal definition is time is tick tock. Tick tock is the regular beat of time. Chronos tells time at the regular, normal standard, 1 second is 1 second kind of way. Chronos is also regularity. For example, daily, for example, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually. That's Kronos. Kronos has regularity to it. The revelation of the morning is I have been thinking, I need more kairos in my life. [00:02:29] And in order to get more kairos, I actually need to make sure my Kronos is stable and strong to have the branches be taller. I need the roots to be deeper. Here we go. [00:02:44] Kairos is then the joy, the happiness, the ups and downs. Time, remember time, Kronos, the regular stuff. The 1 second is. 1 second is normal life, right? It would be like a day job, so to speak. Whereas Kairos is when time stands still or in the opposite extreme, time flies by. So often we experience Kairos when we have a traumatic event, like a world disaster or something, or some attack or like for Americans, it's often 911. And that's why in times of Kairos, in times of heightened emotion or heightened, call it energy or frequency, and usually unexpected, then this is where we. Yeah, time stands still, just like so for me, 911. I can remember very clearly. I was in San Francisco. We lived on Sutter street. We had our little studio apartment. I remember, like, we had this old school tv on a cardboard box and we watched CNN. I can see it clearly like it was yesterday. How can I see that so clearly? Why does that happen? Because it's Kairos time. Because time stood still because of the extreme emotion that was involved in that terrible time. [00:04:10] There are other examples, positive examples. For example, on Licoma island, when I was with my then girlfriend, now wife, and I realized, I think we realized that we were in love. [00:04:27] And the time on Lekoma island, which then became the name of my past company, was a moment where time flew by. We were there for only a week, and yet it seemed like a year. So time is bent, right? It seemed like a week. Was it a day? Was it a year? In my. My emotion, it was worth a year. In my clock, in my Kronos time, it was a week. [00:04:52] So Kairos. The reason I want more Kairos in my life is because Kairos. I like Kairos. We all like Kairos. Kairos is the special times, the unexpected joys. I mean, it has the downs, too, but like a roller coaster, you know what I say, what goes down must come up. I sort of defy the laws of physics there. But that's how Kairos works. So Kairos is unexpected. Kairos is a deep, deep sorrow and also extreme joy and happiness and purpose and meaning and all of the extreme positive emotions that you'd like to have. But also, you don't really want to have. [00:05:37] And in fact, you can't have. You can't really survive on Kairos on a regular basis. And you wouldn't want that. You wouldn't want to be extremely joyful every single moment of every single day. It just would be tiring. And it's not really possible. And it's also not the goal. Kairos, it comes in bursts. Kairos is the project. Kairos is the big event. Kairos is the big job promotion or the new book. So Kairos, for me, is the goal to heighten the level of the Kairos. But how do we do that? And that's by raising the level of the kronos. So how can we do that? Then we're back to frequency. Third book in the three part series, frequency. How do we raise our frequency of our kronos? In other words, how do we improve the daily stuff, the grind to the weekly. The monthly. The quarterly. Right. How do we make that better for me as a creator? The answer is simple. The answer is creating. Today, July 17, 2024. Hereby, I'm gonna give myself a challenge. And I know I can't really back down from challenges so easily, so I'm giving myself a challenge. I stopped writing. I stopped my 2808 day writing streak on the day my mom passed away. [00:07:06] And I think that's. Wow. I think it's four years ago now. And today, July 17, 2024, I'm gonna start another 30 day challenge for myself. If you'd like to join me, you are more than welcome. I have a link or something below to come join me. I am gonna publish something, whether it's audio or video or words, every single day for 30 days. This is going to build my kronos. This is going to deepen my roots so that my branches can grow more healthy and stronger and higher. That's where Kronos comes in. Kronos is my daily, is my weekly. Just like I have a weekly Thursday thunder. I've got a monthly 17th newsletter. And I've got a daily creation. I've been doing daily youtubes also since 2020, daily shorts. And daily is where you build your Kronos to deepen your roots. [00:08:03] That's it. That's it for today. I see I'm in eight minutes keeping these under ten. It is Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and today I'm starting another 30 day challenge. I'd love for you to join me, but I only want you to join me if you want to improve your Kronos and you'd like to heighten your Kairos. This is the theme of my upcoming series, aptly named Kairos. [00:08:33] And this is going to be a book. There's going to be three books with nine chapters each. I'm going to be interviewing nine people. Times three. I'm going to be interviewing 27 people under the main umbrella of Kairos, with the sub themes of energy, trajectory and frequency. If you're still listening to this, then you are die hard. And I love you and I invite you to approach me and let's have a conversation about energy or trajectory or frequency or all three and how they relate to Kronos time and Kairos time. [00:09:12] Alright, I'm going across the street. [00:09:20] All right, I've got 30 seconds to give you the last little view. I'm just going to let you enjoy. I'm going to stop talking for once, let you enjoy last little bit of my ride here. Have a great month. I'll see you next time.
