[00:00:01] So you'd think I'd be better at this, but I actually struggle a bit with what people call relaxing, or I think it's what the general term is, chilling or relaxing or doing nothing. Or the Danish would say hije or something and the Dutch might say Nixon, like doing nothing. Nix is nothing.
[00:00:30] And I think they'd be right.
[00:00:32] And yet what is the point of this doing nothing or this chilla or this relaxing or whatever.
[00:00:40] And it's to, you know, calm your thought. I don't know. I mean, what is the point? Calm your thoughts and chill out and do your thing. And I don't know.
[00:00:48] But the way I see it is it's individual. It's up to you. It's your thing. It's what works for you.
[00:00:58] So, for example, right now I was sitting with Pepper. I was doing my Italian lesson as I sit here on a bench in the woods. And Pepper's chilling Pepper. Chilling.
[00:01:09] And he's quite good at it. Although he'll come over here in a bit because he'll have enough chillin and he'll want to get. Get back to whatever it is we were doing.
[00:01:20] But for me, and I'm curious about this for you. For me, chilling, relaxing is creating.
[00:01:28] Like, I hit record on this video, right? This for me is the ultimate in what I love doing.
[00:01:35] I love hitting record.
[00:01:37] I love writing books, I love recording audio, I love having interviews. I don't know. Is it just me?
[00:01:46] I know I did a quote on that recently, a talk. Is it just me? I think it's a great title. Because no, the answer is no, it's not just me. Because ideally we're better together. And ideally we're doing things together. Speaking of together, there's a little friend or a big friend.
[00:02:06] So what is it for you that is the idea of relaxing or Nixon or Hija or Ha or whatever you say the Danish word, and chilling and relaxing.
[00:02:17] But what does it mean for you? And why do you do it? And what is the goal of the thing? And do? Are you good at it? Can you do it? Are you okay with it? Is it fun? Do you like it? Is it. Does it give you what you need?
[00:02:32] Because if I'm here, don't forget, this is coming from a guy who has meditated every single morning since 2014.
[00:02:41] I might miss a day now and again, but that is my clarity time. That is my ultimate in clarity time.
[00:02:49] So maybe that's it. Like, what is your clarity time? What is your time where you are at ease, you are chilling, you are Chilling like a villain.
[00:03:00] And what is the point of it? And what are you getting from it? And why are you doing it?
[00:03:06] How are you doing it? What are you doing? Do you have a schedule for it? Is this something that needs a schedule? Are you busy with your work? Work?
[00:03:15] That is work that you don't want to do.
[00:03:19] And not, as Tom Sawyer would say, no. Work is a thing that you have to do, and play is a thing that you like to do. So what if the thing is something that you like to do?
[00:03:33] What if the thing that you like to do is what other people call work?
[00:03:40] Like recording videos and interviewing people and writing books?
[00:03:44] Some people call it work.
[00:03:46] I don't.
[00:03:48] I don't know. I guess if it's stuff I didn't want to do, I would see it as work.
[00:03:54] All right, the pepper is no longer chilling, as I expected.
[00:03:58] Now he's just eating grass, which is going to turn into the video that you don't want to see, where he regurgitates said grass and cleans out his intestines a little bit.
[00:04:14] So on that note, let me ask you, do you chill? Do you relax?
[00:04:20] How do you do it? Why do you do it? What do you do? Does it work for you? Do you recommend it?
[00:04:25] Am I missing out on something?
[00:04:27] This, for me, is the ultimate. I am outdoors. I have a free. I have one call today, maybe two.
[00:04:35] I am chilling like a villain. I've got a workshop on Friday. I've got. I actually have two things on Friday. I have a workshop on a Friday and a presentation on Friday.
[00:04:44] It's all good. It's all good. I'm chilling. Come on now.
[00:04:48] All right, I'm stopping this before Pepper gets, you know, not safe for the office over here.
[00:04:54] All right, Let me know what your chilling is. Let me know what you're chilling like a villain is.
[00:04:58] Bye for now.
