[00:00:01] Wait a minute.
[00:00:02] That idea could work for me.
[00:00:06] Hey, hello, Thursday Thunder. Bradley Schrevener here with repossible podcast YouTube channel. Wait a minute.
[00:00:12] That idea that we're talking about for you, that could work for me.
[00:00:18] Why didn't I think about that? Oh, wait, I just did.
[00:00:23] I had a conversation last week, actually exactly a week ago, with my dear friend and partner in crime, Shell, and we were working through ideas for her and her business, her variety pack of businesses, and, and how we work together and how I can help her and all this stuff, right? And when it, when it came to it, and again I went, I went, heart, mind, gut. Right? Heart. Oh, did you hear that? Heart, mind, gut. I'm going out of order.
[00:00:51] Heart. Coming at, coming at me today.
[00:00:53] Mind, heart, gut. And I went at it and I'm like, Shell, you know, I'm just not feeling it with what we were talking about, right? And so we talked more, talk more. We had a great hour long. We have an hour long chat every week.
[00:01:07] And I thoroughly look forward to it as partners, as sort of a mini mastermind, as. As collaborators and partners and higher level thinking and strategic thinking for our businesses. And, And I was gonna. I was even gonna cancel on her call because I, I had to get home and I was in Amsterdam and I had to get the train and I thought, you know, we were rolling. We were rolling. And then I just, I stood on the canal and I just stopped and we had our. Had our zoom video call. And I even, I even flipped the camera for him. Like, Shell, I'm gonna give you. I'm gonna give you a better view than me. I'm gonna give you an Amsterdam canal in the spring. And it's just gorgeous. And we just worked through it and I thought, wait a minute, that idea could work for me. And what we were talking about was, to put it in one word, a summit.
[00:01:59] Now a summit. Depends on what you think of the word summit. Okay, I have to do some business. One second.
[00:02:06] Oh, boy. All right, I'm literally gonna put the phone there. Can I even pause this thing? I don't know. I'm gonna put the. Let's get back to it. That was a unsponsored break there from Pepper. If I want to edit this, I will edit, but I probably won't because I'm excited to talk with you. Why? Because maybe in talking about my thing, which was really Shell's thing, we can get to your thing.
[00:02:30] So here's what happened. We're talking with Shell. And remember, Shell is techie Gal, right? And so am I. And we just tend to riff and play and make progress and push each other and hold each other back and, and we're a good team.
[00:02:47] So we were taught.
[00:02:50] I don't know if I want to go into full detail about what we're not doing, but what we are excited about, to put a technical term on it is a summit. And the reason I say the word summit is because we have, we both own software. The software is called hey, summit is one thing Shel and I do as well is we trade tech tips and tech strategies. See, she's way, she's above my pay grade. She is the tech queen. I am a lily prince.
[00:03:15] And what is a summit? What is a tech summit? Now I've done these before in the past.
[00:03:22] And a summit is basically a conference or a workshop or a retreat or whatever you want to call it, a gathering of people.
[00:03:29] And not always, but I think pretty more often than not there are multiple speakers.
[00:03:36] Now if you've been following me or hanging around for a bit, you'll know that this is what I'm all about, right? I like having the conference, I like having the retreat, I like having the workshop. I like when there are multiple teachers at a ideally multi day event or at least multi event event sort of thing.
[00:03:55] And that's what a summit does. So one reason this is going to sound silly, but when technology is involved and if you have good tools, it makes the whole thing easier because hosting stuff like this can be quite a challenge because I've done it and it can be piecing together a lot of different elements.
[00:04:13] But when you have the right tools, it makes the job easier. This sounds like a pitch for heysummit. It's heysummit.com it's. It is awesome software and shall. A year, a year ago, almost to the day, a year ago, we both bought a lifetime license to this software, right?
[00:04:33] And, and this is one thing that clicked.
[00:04:38] We own the tools to host the events already, right? We have them. We have unlimited to unlimited license thing where we can run this thing that we want to run anyway. And so that already removes the hurdle. But then the good part, the exciting part, especially for me is this is exactly what I want to be doing. And I want to be. Well, I want to do them in person.
[00:05:00] The voice crack. I want to do them in person.
[00:05:03] But I need to get started online. I guess I don't need to, but it's a good trial run to do the, to do the online. And why is that? Because let's see which ones are more popular. Remember I am a multifaceted, multi dimensional being here. Right. And I like public speaking, I like comedy, I like spirituality, I like tech. I like relationships. Love. I like, I like love. I like love. That's. That's lovely, Bradley. No, it is really.
[00:05:38] And how can I be the host of these multiple events with these multiple topics and well, the answer is I can and the answer is why not? And it all comes under the idea of repossible. So under the repossible umbrella I am planning on hosting events. And first in the coming six months, in a year, we're going to do them online and we're going to then play. I don't know how. I'm not going to dare say how many I'm going to do, but I've got so many. Just, just got me already thinking, right, like how many I want to do, how many I can do. What are we going to do about this? And like the first ones come to mind are our spirituality. But that's, that's quite broad. Let's get, let's get deeper on that. And then one, this is sort of a recent one, but voice.
[00:06:28] I think voice is a fascinating topic. I met someone recently in April and she uses her voice.
[00:06:37] She had a word for it. I think she called it sounding. I had never heard that term.
[00:06:42] And it hum.
[00:06:44] She uses her voice in a way I had never seen. I find it fascinating.
[00:06:47] So I would love to have her on the summit as an expert. And then other people talking about voice. Like maybe we get an actor, maybe we get a voice actor. Maybe we get an audiobook narrator. Maybe there's someone who does voice teaching. I can think of someone right now. It's the wife of my audiobook, a narrator friend. Right.
[00:07:05] So that's just for example voice. Get a singer on there.
[00:07:10] Hi. A few more.
[00:07:13] Hey. I'm just.
[00:07:17] So that's an example voice. Right. And for maybe, maybe a toastmaster person. Talk about vocal variety and, and pacing and speed and voice and. And accents and.
[00:07:28] Right. Voice. That'd be cool. I would love that one. What else? Speaking.
[00:07:33] So in fact the meeting I have today, I'm going to Amsterdam today at 11 o' clock and I'm meeting with a very high level professional speaker. Right. That's what she does. And, and in fact I'm so excited about thinking about this because I can now invite her, maybe co create with her an event about speaking and her. I don't know, I think she does storytelling and speaking. She does, she's like high level. I'm like in kindergarten compared to her. But she does big time stuff and so how could I partner? And again, I'm back to the invitation. I'm like, hey, would you like to join this thing that I'm creating or would you like to co create this thing that I'm thinking of creating? That's an invitation.
[00:08:14] So now I have the invitation to the stage. I own the stage. The Repossible stage. And this week we're talking about voice, Next week we're talking about speaking. Then it's humor, then it's improv, then it's stand up, then it's toastmastery stuff. Maybe then it's maybe writing, right? Hello writer. Then it's writing. Then I would actually like to get people to talk about, I mean my biggest of them all, confidence and self love.
[00:08:42] How can we talk about confidence? What are the other aspects of a topic that maybe I didn't think of? And I invite people onto the show or onto the summit and we have these experts from different angles and we have an event for one day or three day or whatever. And live or not live or pre recorded or whatever. But can you tell I'm excited? This is gonna be fun. This is gonna be good, right? Repossible summits. I've done them before, I'm doing them again and I'm really excited about it. And I'm talking to Shell again today and we're gonna talk more. I'm out of time. Limits, constraints, creativity. There it is right now. See you next week. Bye for now.
