[00:00:00] Speaker A: So is. Is this how you get work? You stay, you know, behind the blinds? I could even. Wait, I could even. Hold on. I could.
[00:00:07] Speaker B: I could close the blinds and then.
[00:00:09] Speaker A: I don't have to go anywhere. And is that how you get to work? Is that how you get the jobs? Is that how you get the gigs? Is that how you get on stage? Is that how you get hired?
[00:00:18] Speaker B: No, no.
However, you need to be open to receiving. I had a video yesterday all about being open to receiving. I just got a phone call from a friend and colleague in the Netherlands and he said, hey, so someone at a corporation I'm not going to name, at a corporate company contacted me because they saw you, Bradley, on stage and they want you to come do a presentation for their corporation.
So can you do it?
Yeah.
And this happened because I got out of the house, right? I get out on stage and he couldn't even tell me which stage. Why is that? Because I've been on so many stages in the past year or two that I don't even know anymore. And he says, yeah, he thought it was maybe in. It was either Antwerp or Amsterdam or maybe even Utrecht, but he thought maybe Amsterdam, but he wasn't even sure. And it doesn't even matter because I'm on stage, I'm out there, I'm out the door.
I open the blinds and I go out the door to do the thing and I put my face out there, I get on stage, I speak in front of audiences, I do my best, and I am open then to the invitation. And how does this work? Because people see me or they see you and they say, I want that guy.
I need what he's offering. I need that workshop. Or my company could use what that guy's doing.
I want that workshop. So, for example, I was probably doing. So the gig could be related to like being. Being an emcee.
So being like a master of ceremonies or how to run an event. How to be up on stage and run an event.
And so that's probably what the workshop is going to be, is sort of how to be an emcee for an event. Make sure I could do that because I'm good at it. And why? Because I've been on stage and I've been doing it and I've been practicing. Am I the absolute best? Am I award winning? Nope. But this person saw me on stage in real life and they reached out to this guy, I don't even know the connection here, and said, hey, can we get that guy? Yeah, I know that guy.
[00:02:47] Speaker A: Oh, okay.
[00:02:48] Speaker B: Can you contact him and see if we can hire him for this thing? Yeah, we can do that. And why is that? Because I got out the door. Go. Get out the door and see what happens. Bye for now.
