From the guest lodge in the Highlands of Chimanimani, Zimbabwe, it’s Thanksgiving.

I was asked to give a speech about Thanksgiving. But not a regular Thanksgiving, amybe there was a year that it was different.

We’re going to take a trip back in time to a faraway country in southeastern Africa.

We’re going to take a trip from the “Passive Audience” to the “Active Participant.”

It’s absolutely possible to cruise through our own lives as the “Passive Audience.” We watch and we take notes, comment and suggest.

Yet if we’re the spectator of our own life, who’s driving?
